systems of poly (n-vinylcarbazole) doped u,ith silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) that ablated by nanosecond laser at different laser parameters such as; time of irradiation, source power and photon energy (wavelength) rvere prepared and studied. Structural, optical, morphological and thermal properties have been investigated using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), ultra violet - visible Spectra (uV-vis), Photoluminescence (pL), Scanning Electron Microscope (sEM), Transmission Electron microscope (TEM) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA). A correlation between the inyesti_eated properties has been discussed. XRD, IR and pL spectra in addition to TEM images reveal that the complexation between AgNps and pVK matrix takes place in the amorphous region. The band tail values confirm the decrease in the disorder in such system which is consistent with XRD data. PL spectra indicate that interfacial charge transfer occurs between AgNps and pVK molecules. The thermodynarnic parameters such as E*, as*, aH* and AG* u,ere determined according to Coat's-Redfern relation.
