Effect of Silanized Silicon Dioxide and Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles Loading on Some Properties of Experimentally Prepared Composite Core Material
nanosilica , nanotitanium dioxide , composite core, resin composite
This study was performed in order to prepare an experimental dental resin composite core material filled with silicone dioxide nanoparticles and titanium dioxide nanoparticles and evaluate some of its related properties as degree of conversion, Vickers hardness number, compressive strength and tensile strength. Steps of preparation of the experimental resin composite material included preparation of the photo activated resin matrix, sintering of silicon dioxide nanoparticles, silanization of silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles and fillers loading into the matrix to produce the final composite material then subjecting the experimental composite to laboratory tests
