HISTOPATHOLOGICAL RESPONSE OF THE DENTAL PULP TO THREE DIFFERENT PULP CAPPING MATERIALS
The attempt of preserving tooth vitality (to avoid extensive treatments) by pulp capping is the ultimate way of treatment. Several pulp capping materials were used but each of them has its drawbacks. Recently a new material called Propolis is used as pulp capping material. Propolis has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Also hypertonic NaCl is used as anti-inflammatory material in the medical field.
